FERC Relicensing Information

The Hamilton Hydroelectric Project is a 1.94 megawatt run-of-river hydroelectric plant located along the Great Miami River along the North edge of the City of Hamilton, Ohio.

The City of Hamilton is the licensee of the Hamilton Hydroelectric Project.  The project is currently licensed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC project no. 2724). The current 30 year license was granted in 2001 and expires in 2031.

The City of Hamilton has started the process of applying for a new license.  This page has been established to publicly share documents related to this effort.  Please check back often, as documents will be added as they become available throughout the licensing process.
