Express Care Services from Primary Health Solutions

Beginning June 2026, City of Hamilton employees and their covered spouses and dependents enrolled in the City health plan will have access to Express Care services at no cost through a new partnership with Primary Health Solutions.

This partnership reflects the City’s continued investment in employee wellness and convenient access to quality healthcare—while helping support affordable health benefits for employees and families over time.

Primary Health Solutions Express Care provides convenient walk-in care for non-emergency illnesses, injuries and healthcare needs at two Butler County locations. Services at Express Care are covered at no cost to eligible members through the City health plan partnership. Express Care can help when you need prompt medical attention but may not require an emergency room visit—especially after normal business hours or when you are unable to quickly schedule an appointment with your regular doctor.

Covered services include:

  • Acute illness care for cold and flu symptoms, sore throats, sinus infections, ear infections,nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and urinary tract infections

  • Minor injury care for sprains, strains, cuts, burns, bruises and sports injuries

  • Sports and work physicals

  • Diagnostic services such as urinalysis, pregnancy testing and rapid testing for flu, strep, COVID and mono

  • Skin and procedural services such as wound care, splinting and suture placement or removal

Using the benefit is simple:

  1. Walk in to either Express Care location

  2. Check in as normal—no special paperwork is needed

All eligible members enrolled in the City health plan will already be loaded into the system. If there are ever any eligibility issues during check-in, care will still be provided and any administrative items will be handled directly between Primary Health Solutions and the City afterward.
