The Board shall study, advise, and record the prevalence of disease within the City and as to all matters pertaining to all local public health and sanitation. Codified Ordinances 153.02.

Notice of Vacancy - Advisory Board of Health
The City of Hamilton seeks candidates who are interested in serving as a volunteer on the Advisory Board of Health. This is a unique opportunity for civic involvement. The Advisory Board of Health is a five-person board that meets quarterly and at additional special meetings at times called by the Board president or three members thereof. The Board makes recommendations to the City Health District and hears administrative appeals of certain orders of the Health Commissioner. Hamilton residency or Hamilton business ownership is required.
